A great quick and easy pudding!

    Kimberly Doncaster from Burnsville, MN

My daughter had been wanting to make pudding from scratch, so we tried this recipe. Very easy and tasty! The only thing i didn't like was it was a little too thick for my taste, but I am sure that can be easily changed with a little less cornstarch. But all in all, a perfect easy pudding - much better than boxed!

This recipe is great! Being I'm Lactose-Intolerant, I can make this pudding to fit my dietary needs, and I don't let my family know it's lactose-free, and they don't know the difference. This is a life-saver recipe for me! Finally! A pudding I can make that's so delicious.

It was simply. My daughter helped and she had a great time. I made homemade powder doughnuts to dip into the pudding. I added morsels in my daughters bowl after it cooled to give it an extra boost of sweetness and texture, she loved it. Thanks for the creamy and easy recipe.

    Very rich and creamy

Shirley Browning from San Jose, CA

This recipe is super easy and very yummy! I substituted the 1/2 cup of water with a 1/2 cup of milk. Also, instead of cooking it on the stove, I microwaved it on high for 3 minutes, then stirred, then cooked for 1 minute, then stirred, then cooked for 1 minute more. This was much easier than standing at the stove stirring constantly. I've also made this recipe with 2 cups of milk in place of a can of evaporated milk. It's not as rich, but just as creamy and delicious!

elizabeth tierney from MARTINS FERRY, OH

I always make pudding in the microwave. Never sticks! Cook, then whisk, at one minute intervals, until thick. I had some cookies that were kind of dry. Put them in serving dishes and poured the pudding over. Made a nice snack. I got the recipe off the can of Carnation. Doesn't take an egg, so am able to make a dessert without eggs, should I run out. Ingredients all handy on the shelf.
