    Tasty, worth the time.

Mary Ann Low from Pilot Rock, OR

Because of the homemade dressing for this salad, I would recommend it for those who are experienced or those who want to try something new but are not discouraged by imperfect results, as it could fail for reasons related to cooking egg mixtures.

    summertime cool meal

    marcella pagano from indianapolis, IN

on hot summer days it is nice to have a chilled lunch or supper. chicken breast are ideal but in a pinch mixed white and dark chicken is still acceptable and even preferred by some. i add the nuts just before serving(it keeps them crisp). the addition of orange makes it hard for even preschool aged kids to pass up. this is a favorite for picnics in the yard.

  • Star(s)

    POOR DRESSING

    JACKLYN from HOT SPRINGS, AR

I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE DRESSING FOR THIS SALAD. IT TASTED LIKE HIGHLY SALTED, POWDERED, CHALKY MILK. I FIXED THE TASTE THE BEST I COULD WITH A LITTLE MORE SUGAR AND MAYONAISE.

    Taste test before adding chicken

    Karen from Shaker Hts, Ohio

I didn't like the milk taste of this at all. If I hadn't tasted it before adding the chicken I would have been upset. I threw out the cream sauce and used mayonaise instead. Other than that I liked the oranges, celery and almonds.
