These taste good and are easy to make. My grandsons, ages 3 and 5, always love to help me make them. I allow them to sprinkle all of the chocolate morsels on top of the frosting. They call the morsels "cat eyes" because when I make pancakes I shape them like cats and let them put chocolate morsels on them for the eyes.

    Aww!!!

    Carrie Fox from Adams, WI

This is a great idea for a class treat! I made them because my son wanted to take in a treat for his class for his 5th birthday! I thought it was a good idea. You can also fill the cups a bit less so that when you put icing on them it still isn't over the top of the cup and that will make 24 cupcakes and an 8x8 pan!!!

    Cultural lesson

    Ann Findrik from Kamloops, BC

This recipe is so quick, easy and the children just loved it! I am always looking for new ways to present to the children a cultural lesson about Croatia and it's province of Dalmacija or Dalmatia. This was a fun and yummy way to make a connection to another country, culture, people and for course the dogs. Thanks for the idea!
