I make these for bake sales. They are quick and easy to make and very popular. We charge twice as much as for a cupcake and we always sell out. They also work for potluck dinners.

Lisa Vigg from SHEFFIELD LAKE, OH

It's gotten too expensive to buy chocolate dipped strawberries, and they aren't always fresh. I use milk chocolate chips at home because it's less expensive, but for family friends I like to give them the best.

I used this recipe at christmas for my good friends and coworkers. I receives so many calls asking where I got them. But had to tell them the truth. I have made them with chocolate chip, but with the chocolatier it is much better and I have notice they stay fresher longer. This is fast, easy and so good.

I made this recipe as a Valentine's Day treat for my husband. Very easy, with very tasty results! The dipped strawberries were as good as the ones you would by at a chocolates specialty/candy store. I plan on making them whenever I have to bring a treat for family get togethers.

Chocolate Dipped Strawberry recipe, simple to make and very tasty to eat. Try dipping with White Chocolate, set for 15 mins. than dip in the Dark Chocolate, set for 15 more mins. Before Dark Chocolate has hardened, place a Heart shaped Cinnamin candy in the middle. Makes a great Valentine gift

So the chocolate doesn't burn, I microwaved for 30 sec then stired. It's better if you don't use choc chips. The Chocolatier Bar works great!! And tastes even better!

Great for a Quick Snack for Guest

Teresa Posey from MC Calla, AL

I have used this recipe several times for a quick Snack for unexpected guest. I have also prepared this receipe using the Pound Cake Squares and the Cookies. Everyone raved over how good they tasted. They never knew the Pound Cake and Cookies were store bought and all I had to do was prepare the chocolate dip. It was "As Easy as Pie" to prepare.

These dipped strawberries are wonderful. I have made them without the shortening and they taste the same - the chocolate is thicker. The shortening gives them a shine which makes them look great.

Strawberries aren't the only fruit that is good dipped in Nestle's chocolate. Try dipping other berries like raspberries. Oranges are super yummy dipped in Nestle's chocolate (any type, not just dark). Apples dipped in Nestle's are also a tasty treat. I just read a review for chocolated dipped cherries, I can't wait to try that one.

    Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Linda Applebee from WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI

The Chocolate dipped srtawberries are delicious. If you have some with chocolate allergies; make a delicious batch of the strawberries and use another of the flavors Nestle's makes so all the guests can enjoy this delicious treat. My family really enjoys the chocolate but if we have even one guest that has chocolate allergy I substitute another of the delicious flavors of chips so that all my guests can enjoy this wonderful treat.

    Our Favorite

    Pat Pruitt from SPRINGDALE, AR

We always watch for the first fruit of the season. What a treat it is to melt all kinds of chocolate and dip the fruit in them. We use white, dark, milk and peanut butter chips in small pots and have lots of fun dipping to our hearts content. We use all kinds of fruit. Apples are always available and we enjoy them. I guess strawberries are our favorite but we enjoy all kinds. It is easy for the young ones to do so everyone can join in.

My sons loved the strawberries so much I decided to try dried apricots. Delicious! I think I will try the marichino cherries next. Thanks for the great tip.

    Oh So Delicious

    NICOLE RENNER from WYANET, IL

We just bought strawberries and I'm so glad we did! Dipped strawberries was what I was craving, so I'm glad Very Best Baking had this recipe to remind me of it. I will have to take note from the other reviewer about the dipped maraschino cherries, that sounds like a great idea. Chocolate dipped pretzels are yummy, too, with the sweet-salty thing going on. 5 stars on anything "chocolate dipped"!

    Twice Dipped Cherries

    rita wieland from HAMPTON, GA

I wanted to garnish a cheesecake for Thanksgiving with the strawberries, but I was unable to locate any strawberries that I would serve. I decided to try the maraschino cherries. I rinsed and dried the cherries. I followed the recipe. When I removed them from the rack, I decided to dip them a second time and set them on the cheesecake and wax paper. The double dipped cherries were a big hit. The ones I garnished the serving tray with were gone before Thanksgiving Grace was said. There were as many favorable comments about the cherries as the cheesecake. Now, I have a wonderful tasting and looking garnish!
