    Disappointing Chocolate Bars

    jan bunting from ,

yuck - I followed the directions precisely. I am disappointed that I wasted all the ingredients - not to mention the calories i consumed while trying a piece! I did not like the texture nor the taste at all.

    Amazingly Good!

    Marie Troyer from Binghamton

The texture of these bars is ecstasy, soo moist. It kind of reminded me of flourless chocolate cake but better. I used white chocolate chips instead of the walnuts and highly recommend it, I think the walnuts would have disturbed the texture. If you love chocolate you won't be disappointed with this one.

    Just wonderful!

    Stephanie Guidry from Houma, LA

If you only try one recipe on this website, this is the one! Rich, perfectly sweet, and a great texture. These taste like the frosted brownies at our local bakery, but even better. Will make again and again, for the holidays and just because.

    Better than Hostess

My kids love these and would rather take these in their lunch than anything hostess has. They will not trade with anyone else, which says a lot.

    Disappearing Chocolate Bars

    Delenia Hayes from CLAREMORE, OK

Since I am not really a chocolate fan, I have relied on my husband on the taste of this recipe. I made the bars and maybe I left it in the oven too long, but I thought they taste a little dry. My husband said they were really good. Either way they are almost gone and the next time I will not cook them quite so long.

    Disappearing Chocolate Bars

    Virginia Braddy from HOBGOOD, NC

Though walnuts are not my favorite nut, I thought this recipe was delicious! It was easy to make and a crowd pleaser. I took it to my mother-in-laws for Sunday dinner and though she had another dessert, this dessert quickly disappeared. For those women out there that have to have their chocolate fixes this more than fills the bill. I could eat them every day!

Oh well...it's easy to see I'll have to double the recipe the next time.
