Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies
A cookie for chocolate lovers, with big chunks of chocolate in a chocolate cookie.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups (11.5-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

COMBINE flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chunks. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are puffed and centers are set but still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

chocolate chip cookies
so nice and delicios
Easy to assemble, easier to eat.
Very easy cookie to make and it is good to curb a chocolate hankering. I added a splash of cinnamon to the mix just to jazz it up but really, these are good either way.
I made these with a few adjustments to make them healthier. I used 1/2 sq. margarine and 1/4 c. applesauce, put in slightly less brown sugar, used 1/3 c. sugar and 1/4 t. stevia, 1 T. vanilla. Very delicious and brownie like. I may increase the margarine & applesauce just a little bit next time, but they still were fantastic!!!!
This was a very easy cookie to make and so so good.This is a keeper my family says.I used chocolate chips in place of the chunks and no problem, chocolate yummy!
