Ingredients:

2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
3 cups toasted rice cereal

Directions:

HEAT morsels and peanut butter in small, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat. Add sugar; stir vigorously until smooth.

PLACE cereal in large bowl. Add 1 cup melted chocolate mixture; stir until all cereal is coated. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Using small metal spatula, shape into 10-inch circle with slightly raised 1-inch border around the edge. Pour remaining melted chocolate mixture in center of circle; spread to 1 inch from the edge. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.

Instead of making this recipe into a 10 inch circle, I dropped them from a tablespoon and made an indentation in the top as you would for a thumbprint cookie. Then I put a little chocolate in the center. They didn't last very long when I made them for a party and everyone loved them. I had to give everyone the recipe. This has become a favorite!!

I did make it in an oblong pan to serve smaller portions as it is very rich. It didn't last long enough to tell how it is after the first day. Maybe next time...

I make these a little differently. I melt the choc and peanut butter, than add 5 cups of cereal, mix together and pour into buttered square pan, Chill and Enjoy. I don't add the additional sugar, it's sweet enough without it. Either way they are very easy to make and better to ENJOY!
