    Cecilia Hofmeister from Chicago, IL

We were so disappointed in this recipe! It was very, very easy but just didn't taste right. Too much vanilla maybe? Maybe the strawberries were bad. Will be giving another chance because it should be delicious!

I made this for a potluck at my daughter's preschool. It was a huge hit. I made it without the chocolate topping to cut down on the sugar.

What a great idea ! My only suggestion is to line the pan with foil, leaving some hanging over the edges. It makes it easier to remove the cookie from the pan.

We made this recepie but we cut out smaller thinner hearts and when cooled, frosted one half of the cookies with chocolate and topped with another cookie, the other half we put chocolate chip icecream in the middle of the two cookies then drizzeled those with the chocolate. They were a big hit with all the family, even though it is still winter.

    BOBBIE GEIBEL from HINSDALE, MA

I've made this a number of times to celebrate various special days and it's always appreciated. Rather than melt the chips to frost this cookie, I evenly spread them on the cookie as soon as it comes out of the oven, preserving a border. After about 5 minutes, it spreads easily.
