- 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 can (30 oz.) LIBBY'S® Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix

NOTE: To make recipe in home freezer, freeze mixture for 2 hours; beat with mixer for 30 seconds. Freeze for additional 2 hours or until firm.

Rich Pumpkin flavor
As well as the traditional pumpkin pie we usually have at Thanksgiving the pumpkin flavored ice cream was received favorably and I was informed that it would be expected at our next Thanksgiving family dinner.
I've made pumpkin ice cream before. It's delicious! I like to add mini vanilla wafers to it too. It's like having the crust mixed in.
Pumpkin Pie Blizzard
Same way dairy queen makes their blizzards just add crushed nilla waffers, top with whipped topping and a sprinkel of nutmeg.

This is a great recipe. I had never heard of this flavor for ice-cream before. It was not hard to do - which I thought it might have been. And of course, it was delicious. My sons really enjoyed helping to make it. It's a fun family activity and then you have a yummy treat at the end to enjoy!
