MICROWAVE broken baking bars and 1/3 cup cream in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 45 seconds; STIR. If pieces retain some of their original shape, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted. Cool completely.

BEAT remaining 2/3 cup cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in small mixing bowl until stiff peaks form (do not overbeat).

FOLD melted baking bar mixture into whipped cream. Spoon into four individual dishes. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.

NOTE: for soft-set mousse, beat cream just until soft peaks form. Mousse can also be layered with fresh berry slices.

This is such an elegant dessert, beautiful presentation w/any fresh fruit or berries..

Easy White Mousse

I think that this is the best easy dessert.IT goes with any fresh or frozen fruit. My husband loves white chocolate and this was a big hit with him and our family.

Easy White Mousse

I thought I would get something like pudding but this was far from that. I have never made mousse before. This was to die for, perfect. I sliced strawberries between layers to take a bite out of the sweetness. This will be a great dessert to serve on the fourth of July, just add blueberries and you have your red, white, and blue.

A bit too sweet

It has a nice consistency, but it is a bit too sweet.

We are a big family so pleasing everybody is always a challenge even with dessert. This was so quick and easy and we all loved it! We did have it with the fruit and it was a great balance in flavor.
