    Sudha Hariharan from Markham, ON

Since the other day,I had made "Carnation Famous Fudge" adding vanilla extract and chopped pecans, hence for a variation,I tried this "Famous Milk Chocolate Fudge" adding almond extract and 1/2 a cup of chopped almonds(instead of chopped pecans/walnuts).The result was equally wonderful and was much appreciated by both my family and friends who had gathered for my father-in-law's 80th birthday celebrations.

I have been making this fudge for many, many years, for Christmas gifts, but have always used Nestles' semi-sweet chocolate chips. After I made one batch of the regular, I made another batch using Nestles' semi-sweet chocolate chips & peanut butter chips. Mmmmm, good! Everyone loved it! This is the best fudge I haver ever tasted, and extremely simple to prepare.

    Kellie Marshall from SOUTHWICK, MA

I made this fudge for Christmas Eve. My sister has a big get together. I made a candy platter with this recipe as one of the candy. It was ok. It was easy to make but it didnt set really well and stayed soft. A little to soft for my liking.

    A Yearly Family Favorite

    Hannah Hurey from BOTHELL, WA

I make this year after year and it continues to be a family favorite. I use a candy thermometer and boil until 240 so I don't have to time it. I think it is a little easier that way. People at my husband's office keep asking him when he is going to bring more in.

    excellent

    T Smith from GA

I was given a Nestle Toll House cookbook a few years ago. The first thing I made was this fudge. It was fantastic!!! I took it to the parents house and in-laws house for christmas. Now every year everyone asks if I will be bringing the fudge. There is never any left, so I make extra and give it as a gift when I leave.

    Mmmm....fudge

    Shannon from California

This fudge turns out so delicious. It is also a recipe that my son, who is 4, could help me with. The only thing I changed is the amount of nuts (I added more) and I also used 1/2 part semi sweet morsels and 1/2 part milk chocolate morsels. It made it a little firmer. Other than that, the recipe is perfect.
