Death by chocolate - SO good!

These are the BEST cookies and they're so easy! I like to add a few drops of mint or raspberry extract to the icing sometimes and it makes a completely different (but equally good!) tasting cookie!

I have been making this cookie for several years now and they are always gone the same day. I substitute milk chocolate chips instead of the semi-sweet. Everyone that tries them loves them and my twins can't get enough!

These cookies were so delicious! The frosting was very good and rich too--it added a little something extra to what may have appeared to be a "plain" cookie. My teenagers gobbled these up.

These cookies were good, but not the best recipe I got off the Very Best Baking website. They were a little dry, but adding the icing helped.

Awesome and easy, that is what i like about a lot of the recipes, when you don't have a lot of time bar cookies are the best.

We add a bit of peanut butter to the frosting for half the batch. Not too much, just enough to hint at Peanut butter, so not to overpower the great cookie recipe!

Nice and easy, and they look great! My son thought that they weren't sweet enough, but my husband liked them as is. Also, I ended up with between 2 and 2 1/2 dozen, and not the 15 that the recipe says - I guess I have smaller tablespoons than this recipe called for - and I thought it was odd that the picture showed bar cookies and not drop cookies - it wasn't until I came back and looked at the bigger picture that I realized that these cookies were there, too.
