    Fruit and Chocolate Dream Bars

PAULA MITSUYASU from EWA BEACH, HI

Thought it was a little too sweet, the crust was good, but the topping was a little too hard - it didn't form into coarse crumbs - maybe a little oats would of helped. Otherwise it was good.

Excellent in spite of my error using semi-sweet morsels. I know that using milk chocolate would give it a different if not better taste.

    too much chocolate

    Lisa Belliston from Athens, GA

These bar cookies get great reviews, but do not use the suggested amount of chocolate. It is too much and smears all of the top of the cookie (doesn't look like the picture!) Also, make sure and use jam and not ice cream topping (that is too thin.)
