Fruit-Filled Chocolate Chip Meringue Nests

I made these for Easter. They were wonderful and very easy to make. Next time I make them I'll make a larger batch....they were gone in a flash. Thank you Nestle for the many delicious recipes you provide for all of us Very Best Bakers.

Fruit-Filled Chocolate Chip Meringue Nests

I ended up making a double batch of these, as the first batch I made with ALL SPLENDA, not a good result. So in the next batch I used SPLENDA for baking, with much better results. I need to watch how much "sugar" is in all my baking, but some times, a litttle sugar makes all the difference. That aside, these meringue nests are very good, and I will be making them again.

These are perfect for Easter Sunday desserts! Nice change from the traditional coconut nests with jelly beans. Great for gluten-free diets too!
