Made Over And Over Again
I have made this for so many parties. I believe that it could never get old. I have changed it through the times I have made it. I don't put the tomatoes in it because tomatoes don't keep very good. Also I have replaced the Tortellini with just some basic shell noodles. I like the taste better with the shells and shells are much cheaper
Excellent Light Summer Salad
I made this for my granddaughters birthday party, did not use the tuna or chicken and used Zesty Italian Dressing, also added bacon crumbles and whole grape tomatoes. Let the tortellini, bacon bits and blanched broccoli marinate for a couple of hours in the fridge then just before serving added the italian salad and tomatoes. Everyone raved about it and my husband asked for it for lunch to take to work. Excellent recipe, you can be so creative with it. My husband doesn't like any type of pasta so thought he would hate it, was I wrong.
I made this for a quick, easy dinner and my kids (6 and 2) devoured it! Deffinately a keeper.
I made this last night for my family and it was a hit. I thought it was a bit overpowering with the Italian dressing. Next time I might try this with a balsamic vinegar and I was thinking about adding some crumbled feta. Overall though, this was a tasty and refreshing pasta salad. Perfect for bringing to a BBQ because it would be fine sitting outside because there is no mayo involved.
Wow it was so easy and so good! Instead of the tuna, I added chicken. It was real good and real easy!! :)
omg this salad is the hit at our BBQ.its fast and real easy and only needs a few ingredients.its so colorful and finally something with out all the cal.of heavy maya..we love it
I subbed in chicken for tuna as well added some yellow and orange peppers and a little garlic my mom and dad loved it! my dad actually called me from work to tell me how good it was since he brought it for lunch!
I used everything in the recipe except I exchanged the tuna for chicken because of allergies and it was fantastic
AWESOME. I dont really care for pasta salad all that much but this one I couldnt get enough of! It does taste good with some bacon sprinkled on it too.
Easy to make, and an excellent, excellent taste! My whole family loves it including our 4 year-old granddaughter!
This recipe was easy and tasty! I left out the tuna and boiled the broccoli for a minute or two and it was very delicious!
My kids won't each raw vegetables so I actually cooked the broccoli and used canned tomatoes. They won't eat olives either. My kids loved it and it was a very simple dish.
Quick, Easy & Delicious
I just had a spa party at my house and it was scheduled right after work so I only had about an hour to get home, get everything ready and receive the guests. This simple recipe made me look like a pro. EVERYONE LOVED IT! No one could believe that I did it in about 15 mins.
I took this salad to an "Italian" 4th of July picnic...lots of people I had never met before. It was the hit of the day. My new boyfriend was totally impressed. I'll be making more of this recipe soon.
Quick & Easy!
I made this recipie last night. It was very quick and simple to make. Even my most picky eater (6yr old son) liked this recipe. I will make this one a regular in our monthly menu!
I made this salad yesterday for a work potluck. I was an intant hit! I like to use a bit of color in my cooking, so I used tri-color tortellini and an orange bell pepper. I am not the biggest fan with raw brocolli, so I decided to blanch the vegetables. I found it to be prefect! I will definitely make this one again. Simple and delicious!
Garden Pasta Salad
This was very easy to make and made a colorful addition to the table.
WOWED the Company Picnic !!
I doubled this recipe and bravely tossed it together at the last minute for the annual Company Picnic and what a hit it made !! Easy to prepare and was so cool on a hot, hot day. Been sharing the recipe every since ! Thanks ..
This salad is awesome! I made it for Mother's Day and got rave reviews! The recipe is being passed around quickly! I hated to admit to how easy it was! I will definitely be making this recipe again!
This is an absolutely wonderful salad which can be served as an accompaniment to meal or as a meal in itself. I served it to dinner guests and to my family as an accompaniment to an Italian meal. It adds so much to the table because it is very colorful and different ( a "no-lettuce" salad). Would be excellent for luncheons, parties, etc.
Great Quick Dinner
This salad was delicious! It was so quick and easy to make. My family loved it. This is just one of many of the recipes I've found on your web site that I will use again and again! Thanks for all of the great ideas.
I read the recipe at work and on the way home decided to buy all the ingredients and make it for dinner. My husband was a little concerned because he says he doesn't like olives (even asked me not to put olives in the salad, but I did anyway) we both ate it and he went for seconds. The salad tasted great (i also added chicken strips) and decided I am making this salad for my Christmas family gathering this year.
This was so easy and delicious
I cut the recipe is half and it was fantastic. I still had leftovers since there is only two of us at home. I took the rest into work the next day and everyone loved it. I added chicken to it. I will make this again and again. A great recipe to take for a potluck. It tastes even better the next day.
I cut the recipe in half (but still added the whole can of ripe olives). It was fantastic. I served it with hot garlic bread and it was a big hit with my friends. You could add some diced ham or pepperoni to it and make it extra yummy; but it was really good as is. I'm taking it to my next potluck luncheon!
The recipe was good but to make it even better, I thought of putting chicken strips in.Terrific..Definetly made a plus..family favorite!
Excellent....Our Cousin brought this to our family reunion today... We all had to have the recipe... She just happened to have the print out... GREAT
I used a roasted red pepper and garlic Italian dressing and it tasted great! Also, because my ravioli had unknowingly expired the first time I made this recipe, I just used some rotini pasta I had on hand and cut up cheddar cheese cubes and it still turned out great. A very easy and versatile salad.
Easy but so so
This pasta salad is so easy to make but it's a little...I don't know. Not one of the best pasta salads I've ever had. I guess by changing the dressing and/or the tortellini it would make it better. It might also be good with some more protein (chicken, tuna, tofu, etc).
This is a great recipe. I added alittle red onion and a touch more dressing and it was awesome. Very tasty!
I tried this recipe for the family. It was so good and easy that I decided to take it to a swim party the next day for a group of about 20. I made a new batch and it went over well. I made more for Easter Dinner at my house the next day. Great recipe with no fuss!
Excellent Pasta Salad
This side dish goes great with just about anything. To make it a little less fatting use Lite Italian Dressing. This recipe comes to about 10 points on the Weight Watchers Point Plan.
Where's The Tuna?
I've read thru this recipe a couple of times and there is no mention of tuna as a couple of the reviewers mentioned. Great recipe!
I loved this recipe! I added green peppers and mozzarella and parmesan cheese instead of the Parmesan-Romano cheese. It was wonderful. I'm adding it to the list of things to make and take to luncheons.
A Different Twist on an Old Favorite
I made this dish to bring to a BBQ and it was a hit. However, I left out the tuna for all of the vegetarians. I thought the idea to use Cheese Tortellini was a great idea, just added a little something extra.
I too changed the tuna for chicken
& also added 1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds.
Great textures, great flavor.
Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful & Easy!
This Italian dish was so simple but tasted great! I recommend this unique salad to all!
big hit at family reunion
tried the recipe and loved it
took it too a family reunion and made one adjustment - changed the tuna to grilled chicken because the family is not into tuna - was the favorite salad presented and there were many
i had to make a italian dish for mi daughter's report and this was easy, good tasting and fun.
