My girls love to help me in the kitchen, so this was a recipe that I could let them do all by themselves. They pressed the dough onto the stone, and sprinkled the chips on,(but I think they added extra!) and I baked it for them! They got to tell Daddy that THEY made it for dessert!

This recipe, for a big chocolate chip cookie, has been around for years. I thoroughly enjoy the new twist added for the upcoming holiday. We have always delved right in to the large cookie in the past when made with just the regular cookie chocolate chips. I can't wait to surprise my family with the "new look"!

I baked this for my son's birthday which coincedently happens to be this month. The colors were festive and the "Big Cookie Dessert" was an even "Bigger Hit" than I expected at his party. It is a delicious dessert and satisfies all who indulge in this sinfully, tasty treat. I will undoubtedly bake it again and again! You can customize it (the dessert) according to holiday, event, etc. Highly recommended.
