Wonderful and Easy!!!

This was the first time I ever attempted to make bread pudding. My husband loves bread pudding and I was really surprised when he ate almost half of it when it came from the oven. It was easy, I always thought bread pudding was hard, but your recipe was very easy and very, very good. I even got complements from my mother!!

I made two batches of this the first time I made it, one for a church breakfast and one for a family dessert. It was great. Everyone loved it and said it would be perfect for the holidays. I also made a caramel sauce to go on it - just right. I will be making this at least once a month during the winter months - it is now my husband's favorite.

    Trish Fox from ADAMSVILLE, AL

I made this for Thanksgiving this year and wow! what a success. I forgot to put the raisens in the recipe, odd, I know, but sprinkled them on top before I glazed it. This turned out to be a blessing for those who wanted the bread pudding but were not big fans of raisens! So, my mistake turned out to be the success of my special treat for Thanksgiving!

This bread pudding was excellent and easy to make. I did change a couple of things; I had some day old bagels so I used them in place of bread. I also replaced 1 can of evaporated milk with an equal amount of eggnog (I decreased the sugar by 1/4 cup).
