Holiday marshmallow stirrers are as fun to make as they are to eat! Kids will love helping make these whimsical creations in all the steps. Use them in hot cocoa, coffee or other holiday drinks.
- 20 mini candy canes
- 20 large marshmallows
- 1/2 cup WONKA Frosty NERDS
- 1/2 cup crushed NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Candy Bar
- 1 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 3 tablespoons NESTLÉ ABUELITA Granulated Chocolate Drink Mix
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
LINE baking sheet with foil. Press candy canes into marshmallows. To avoid having the marshmallows tip over, place the candy cane off to the side and not directly in the center. Place Nerds and crushed Butterfinger in separate shallow dishes.
MELT morsels in a small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl according to package directions; stir. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. Stir in Abuelita chocolate. Stir in oil (this will help keep the chocolate fluid).
DIP marshmallows halfway into melted chocolate mixture; shake off excess. Roll 10 marshmallows in Nerds and the remaining 10 marshmallows in the crushed Butterfinger. Place on prepared baking sheet. Let stand for 30 minutes or until set. Wrap in cellophane or decorative bags and tie closed to preserve freshness.
