Honey Tea Bread is great served toasted with butter and jelly or as an afternoon snack.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3/4 cup lowfat milk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup NESTEA Unsweetened Instant 100% Tea
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
COMBINE flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger in small bowl. Beat milk, honey, Nestea, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla extract in large bowl until tea is dissolved. Gradually stir in flour mixture until moistened. Pour into prepared pan.
BAKE for 45 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick is inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

When I first read the recipe I had my doubts about the tea being used in the bread. Upon cutting into the bread, the aroma was delightful. The taste was even better. This is a good item to make.
