    "Honey" of a Bread!

    JAN WILKINS from Blytheville, AR

My husband has a little produce market and I make the "speciality" breads for him to sell. I am always looking for different breads. This one sold out in 1 day!

I was rather disappointed in this bread; I didn't feel that it lived up to the reviews. I found a somewhat bitter aftertaste that I attributed to the baking powder, and it seemed to "need something." I plan to tweak the recipe a little and try it again - I still think it has potential.

This is a winner of a tea bread. It filled the house up with such a wonderful aroma. It tasted just as good as it smelled. I gave a loaf to my friend next door and she could't wait for me to give her the recipe. Many thanks

Made this to take to a out of state relative we were going to visit. My cousin is a tea drinker. Everyone loved it. They told me next time we come to be sure to bring it again. She ask where I got the recipe and ask for the recipe. I always make a copy of recipe when taking something new to someone. That way you have the recipe with you. Great recipes are found on this site. Thanks.

Different and very tasty. My dad has been a tea drinker his whole life (73 years) and whenever he comes to visit us, he eagerly looks for this bread, loves it with jam, and HAS to have a loaf to take home. Thanks for this recipe!

This is easy and oh so tasty. When the smell of the bread baking hits the house, the kids just can't wait for the slice of warm yummy bread.

This bread is very good. My stepdad liked it more than anyone. This is definitely a good bread to serve with tea, iced or hot.

    Pleasant Surprise

When I first read the recipe I had my doubts about the tea being used in the bread. Upon cutting into the bread, the aroma was delightful. The taste was even better. This is a good item to make.
