I was looking for a bar that I could make. I wanted cookies, but didn't want to hang out in the kitchen in the heat. Great recipe and easy. They were very gooey, but wonderful. My kids loved them!!

Funky twist on chocolate chip bars!

    Michelle Shevy from ROGERS, AR

One of my all time favorite cookie bar recipes! I've been making Hoosier Bars since 1996. The honey roasted peanuts really add a wonderfully unique flavor to these bars. These take just a bit longer to make than some bars, but they're worth it!

I made these as one of my Christmas treats and they were a big hit. So much so I never even got to try them, they were gone so fast. I have never been a big fan of nuts, and I had some extra butterscotch chips around, so I replaced the nuts with the butterscotch, which seemed to be a popular choice.
