This is a favorite of mine to make as gifts; expecially for my grandkids that were in college. I doubled the recipe and added a bag of miniature marshmallows and a mug. I labeled it as to the amount to make a cup. The compliments lasted long after the mix was gone. The recipe to make more was also attached.

    Bye, Bye store-bought mixes

    Tracey from Milford, DE

I found this recipe when I was looking for a mix to make cookie gift-jars. I bought the items but never made the mixes. Today was a snowy day and seemed perfect for cocoa. I made a batch up w/ sugar for my hubby & w/ splenda for me. This is awesome. I will never buy cocoa mix from the store again. It takes just minutes to put together but tastes much richer than store-bought cocoa.

My family and I love to sit around the fireplace w/a roaring fire and talk and plan our holiday parties, decorations, wishes, dreams, etc. With this recipe it was very economical we were able to make it up into bulk to have some for ourselves and some to give to our family and special friends for gifts. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe that we will surely use year after year (and probably in between also)! It tastes better than anything we ever bought in any supermarket. Thanks again!
