Inside-Out Caramel Apples are a new twist on two favorites-caramel apples and baked apples! Perfect for a fall or winter treat. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- 1 package (12-oz) STOUFFER'S Harvest Apples, defrosted according to package directions
- 4 large apples
- 8 caramels
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Fill 9-inch-square baking pan with water to ½-inch depth.
CORE each apple; place one caramel in each apple. Spoon escalloped apples over each caramel; repeat layering. Place filled apples in baking pan; cover.
BAKE for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Surprisingly good but simple
I'm not a fan of "quick and easy" recipes but gave this one a shot and we loved it so much that it's now on my list of things to make when time is at a premium. Thanks for a great recipe.
