My son is a very picky eater and I was looking for other snack foods for him than cookies or crackers. He loved them. He'd eat them all day if I let him. I also like that they are made with juice so they at least have some nutritional value.

I had to experiment with the juice amounts. But we loved the end result. My grandaughter Kalei and I put a stick in them and ate them like popsicles. Real fun. For Memorial Day Kalei wants to make red and blue jello and cut stars and stripes and lay it on our favorite cake frosted with whipped cream to make a flag. We'll try it!

    Juice measurement

The amount of juice needed is 2 1/2 cups. White grape juice also works well. This is a fun snack with fruit or crackers for after-school.
