Easily be the most popular pie for kids

NANCY CHAPMAN from Yorba Linda, CA

This can easily be the most popular pie for the youngest crowd. It takes a while to make but the feedback is wonderful. The dill pickle juice really gives the pie a zesty taste.

    Good as Red Robin

    Candace Huss from VA

I have made this recipe twice now, and it has been a huge hit both times, and the critcs were all three and under. I did add a few ingredients, which may have helped. I just thought about what I like on my "real" cheesburgers and used that for inspiration. For example, I added some grilled onions when cooking the beef and I poured in a little Wicersire sause too to add a little flavor to the beef. The pickles flavor was strong, which was great, since I like pickles. I would recommend this for anyone who is tired of making the same old hamburgers or anyone looking for a creative way to make ground beef. Enjoy.

Forget the kids (my 2 are grown up & have their own children & Live in other states). I made this for my husband & myself & froze what was left over & it was even better reheated. Keep giving us these kinds of recipes. We loved it both times we ate it. It was easy to make in the oven or on the bbq which is where we do all the cooking for the summer. I'll make it all year since it is so easy.
