    Nachos you'll love

    Margaret from Felton, DE

I made these last night. Wow! These Loaded Pita Nachos were wonderful. My husband said these nachos tasted like my favorite nachos from a well known resturant. I agree with him. The only thing I'll do differently next time is make my own chili instead of using canned chili. Canned chili can be really runny, with a thicker chili they assemble better. This is one recipe I will be making again and again!

Awesome, I thought what if you deep fry the pita bread! Theese are wonderful fresh out of the oven! The smell and then the taste. You could mix and match and add what you want but a crowd pleaser these became!

All the ingredients tasted awesome and it was a nice switch from traditional nachos. I thought it would take to long to fill each chip as in the picture when making a family meal, not an appetizer. After baking them to dry them out, I then loaded all the ingredients like you do classical oven baked nachos onto the layered pita chips. This made the chips in the center soggy and difficult to pick up when served. We just got out forks and made do...it was too yummy not to. I would suggest having extra baked pita chips on the side for back up.
