Ingredients

  • 1 package (40 oz.) STOUFFER'S Macaroni & Cheese, prepared according to package directions
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked, diced chicken or turkey
  • 1 cup canned Italian seasoned tomatoes, drained
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced onion

PREHEAT broiler.

COMBINE macaroni and cheese, chicken, tomatoes, bell pepper and onion in 2-quart baking dish.

BROIL until top is golden brown.

A definate Do-Again

I was skeptical about this meal, as we usually don't like cooked tomato. It was relatively easy to prepare, and I bought the party-sized Mac & Cheese, so I only used half of the tray and saved the rest for dinner later in the week. Hubby was sick with the flu, but managed to grab seconds. The kids liked it alot too....they ate the rest for lunch the next day!

got a little creative on this one I put a dusting of Mexican blend cheese on top before puttting dish in the oven also added Mushrooms in place of that nasty tomato.All in all a most tasty dish that leaves much room for your own creativity.

great meal

I really liked this recipe. I did however omit the tomatos because they are not a family favorite. Before cooking I added some frozen peas and I also sprinkled the top with bread crumbs and my family loved it.
