If you love coconut, these Macaroon Brownie Bars are for you.
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Mini Brownie Bites Bar Dough
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 can (14 oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/2 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
PLACE whole bar of dough in prepared pan. Allow to soften for 5 to 10 minutes. Using fingertips, pat dough gently to fill pan.
BAKE for 15 minutes; remove from oven.
COMBINE coconut and sweetened condensed milk in medium bowl. Spread over brownies. Sprinkle with morsels; press down slightly.
BAKE an additional 15 to 17 minutes or until topping is set and golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Great! I used a box brownie mix. After baking for about 30 minutes, I added the topping and followed the macaroon recipe to finish baking. This dessert is great if you are baking several things for the holidays! I'm not sure I'll ever make plain brownies again.
