This is a great recipe. Would probably add a confectionary sugar and lemon juice glaze to top. However, the confectionary sugar dust is great. All my friends loved it.

    Definitely a Keeper!

    Debbie Blumberg from TORRANCE, CA

I made this cake today for my Mother. We both loved it! It's moist, light and de-licious!!! Even though it's perfect as is, I'm thinking of all the different variations -- peanut butter, milk chocolate, butterscotch, and the new swirled morsel flavors -- semi sweet/white chocolate, chocolate and caramel, chocolate and peanut butter. So many flavors, so little time. You have to try this cake -- I know I will make it often.

    Real Gooooooooood.

    whiteswan from Bath NY

As an old person who is set in their way, it was hard for me to use a cake mix, but my son and his wife bought me a bunch of cake mixes for Christmas and said "there mom" Use them and see how good they can be instead of slaving in the kitchen all the time. Well, between dieting and money managment I finally got around to this recipe and it is really great, It sure is hard to stay with just one piece at a time but hubby and I are forcing ourselves to do just that. We use the cake holder with a dome and it looks so pretty and delicious but we control our selves. You must try this one.

Alison Walsh from N BELLMORE, NY

I baked this as a dessert for a co-workers social get together. They really enjoyed it. The cake was light and moist. I decorated the outer ring (between bundt cake and edge of serving plate)with a mix of strawberries and blueberries for an added touch. Everyone loved spooning the fresh berries onto their slice of cake.

Super Moist but a little bitter

    Jori Perrin from HAMMOND, IN

I baked the Marbled Sour Cream Pound Cake for dessert and my family wasn't so thrilled with the taste. I believe the semi-sweet morsels were a bit much for the cake batter which made for a bitter taste. I decided to make a chocolate frosting using the Nestle Baking Cocoa and that made the cake taste a lot better and my family enjoyed it. I will make the cake again, but next time I will try using the Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels. Thanks for such an easy recipe.

Marbled Chocolate Sour Cream Cake Review

    SYDNEY HAUGHTON from GARDNER, MA

This was a selection for a church coffee hour and was very well received. Very simple to make, but I would recommend flouring the pan after greasing for easier removal. Received lots of compliments on this one. Next time I think I will try the butterscotch morsels for a twist.

Our band boosters held a Spaghetti Dinner this past weekend and each of us had to bring a dessert. Knowing that most bring gooey, frosted cakes I decided to try this cake, as I felt many people don't always want a frosted cake after a heavy dinner. Boy, was it ever a hit! We put out pieces of several kinds of cakes and pies at a time, those who tried this really enjoyed it, and it was gone in no time. I was asked by 4 people for the recipe. Thanks for a really yummy, easy recipe. It's a true Keeper!
