A Timeless Classic
This is the recipe my stepmother used. It was good then, and I'm sure it's good now. When I was younger, I did not care for cooking it with ketchup. Now I think it is okay.
Best Meatloaf I've Tried
I have tried many meatloaf recipes, some good, some not so good. This one is the best I've tried. My husband's favorite meal is meatloaf. I think he'll want this kind from now on.
i made this meat loaf for my husbands birthday and invited my sister and husband everyone injoyed it even my youngest son who doesnt like meat loaf thank you
I haven't made meatloaf for a few years as no one in my family likes it. I live alone now and had a craving for meatloaf. Found this recipe and made it only I left out the dry milk, water and ketchup and instead used 1/4 cup sour cream beaten thorougly with the eggs. It was still moist and tasty.
Moist & Tasty
Made this recipe for a comfort meal for family members that had to work all weekend like me, but made ahead of time. Put in the oven, and added some vegetables to serve aside, and voila, a good comfort meal for family. Changed a few of items...no green peppers, sauteed the onions lightly before adding, and used tomato sauce instead of ketchup. Either way, a good traditional comfort meal. Thank you VeryBest Baking!
