This will certainly appeal to your sweet-tooth! It's not the best recipe I have tried on this site, however, if you are looking for a quick and easy after school snack-this will do the trick! Kids love it. Chocolate and cake, how can they be dissapointed? Tastes good-worth the little amount of effort I put into it!

It is a good quick dessert, a little on the sweet side with the melted chocolate chips on top. I would describe it as a chocolate chip cookie cake, and definitely make it again.

    YUMMY!

TERRY FRANQUEZ from WARNER ROBINS, GA

I love this cake because I always have the ingredients on hand and it is wonderful-so full of flavor. You can make it in no time and don't have to make a frosting, great when you're short on time. My husband always makes such a fuss over how good it is, you'd think it was an effort to make.

For some reason my chocolate chips sank to the bottom during baking. The cake was still good but would have been better if the chips had stayed mixed into it.

Seemed like a cross between cake and cookie b/c of the brown sugar. It was very quick to put together but did need to bake a little longer. It will be one of the treats my husband requests in the future!

    Good!

    Swathi Swarup from kuwait

This was a good after school snack, but I felt it was a little too nutty. The sprinkling of chocolate chips was messy and I ended up sweeping off the chocolate chips. Anyway, ok for a try.

    Milk Chocolate Snack Cake

    Julie Quevedo from Carpinteria, CA

This was an easy & great cake!! My family & co-workers loved it. I will be making this cake often, it was very moist. The only mistake I made was that when I put the chocolate chips on the cake right out of the oven, I dumped most of them right in the center and it made the center sink in a little. Next time I will make sure to spread them out more evenly.
