These are hands-down my favorite cookies! I have baked them for holiday cookie exchanges the past 2 years, and I'm sure the tradition will continue because everyone would be disappointed if I brought something else! They are AMAZING warm from the oven, but they are still delicious after a day or two. Irresistable!

This recipe is very similar to my Russian Teacake recipe, which does not have chocolate chips. They are requested every year by family & friends for Christmas.

    Simply Delicious!

Patti Zielinski from Severna Park, MD

I discovered these 2 years ago and they are the first thing my husband requests when holiday baking begins. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to find more red/green swirl morsels this year. Trying them w/ semi-sweet/white chocolate swirled morsels. No doubt they'll be equally as delicious!

While these were not my favorite. They were a little too chocolatey for my taste, they were very easy and baked perfectly. It is simply a personal preference and I would highly recommend this recipe for those who like their chocolate chip cookies loaded with chocolate chips.

I've been making these every year for about 5 years. My family loves them. I have to double the recipe because they go so fast. This year I tried something different... I eliminated the nuts and used chopped marachino cherries along with the chocolate chips! YUM!

Perhaps I did something wrong, but these came out tasting too "floury", especially when they were cool. They were good when they were fresh, though, and they're easy to make.

Mini Chip Snowball Cookies made Gluten- Free

    Doris Kinney from Abilene, TX

I am a Celiac and can no longer eat anything made with wheat in it. I substituted a Gluten-Free flour mix and added some xanthan gum and they were wonderful. The recipe I found was on a package of red & white and green & white swirled chips that were perfect for Christmas. I took them to my Celiac Support Group and they all wanted the recipe so I am glad I found it here because my pkg got thrown away. I'd like to be able to get these colored chips all year round.

I made these and they remind me of English Tea Cookies. I shared them with my coworkers who raved about them. I wish that the butter/margarine amount could be lowered but that's what adds to their richness and creaminess! Awesome cookie!

These cookies looked interesting and I read the results to see the reaction to these cookies. I was pleased with what I read and I tried them with the following additions, 2 eggs and 1 tsp baking soda. I adjusted the recipe because of the comment, "they are dry and crumble easily". With my adjustments, I am very pleased with these cookies and will keep them in my Christmas collection!

These reminded me of my mothers recipe for nut butter balls. My Mom is gone, the taste of these brought back such wonderful memories of her and I baking in the kitchen when I was a child . I have continued to make these cookies each Christmas. My mother-in-law loves these cookies also. We make her a batch and she takes out a small amount of them and freezes the rest for later. These are very quick and easy and they taste great.
