    ICE CREAM PIE, EVEN BETTER

    Ann Novick from NASHUA, NH

We both love both semi-sweet mini morsels & vanilla ice cream. So, of course, we had to make this pie! The first time, we decided to make this ICE CREAM PIE. We thought we'd make it easier by buying a prepared chocpolate graham cracker crust. It saved time, yes, but we lost out on where to use the mini morsels. It was pretty good & we enjoyed the morsels, scattered over the crust (before the ice cream), mixed into the softened ice cream & scattered over the top of the ice cream filled pie. Also just eaten out of hand.It was pretty good. On a less hectic day, I re-read the recipe & made my own crust; this time following the directions precisely! AWESOME! I'll make this one again & again it's a "keeper"

Yumm m m So o easy and tastes yummy when using a very good ice cream that's smooth and creamy. Substituting crushed cornflakes or rice krispy-type cereal works instead of using graham crackers too! Nice quick dessert.

I'm going to use the crust here to use in a 9x13 dish under the Key Lime Pie (sweetened condensed milk recipe). Probably will leave sugar out of crust & use low fat and no transfatty margarine to lower fat etc.
