    Good Recipe, Too much fat

    Mary El-Saleh from Cincinnati, OH

This is a good recipe. The filling in the middle gives good taste. However, I prefer less fat in a recipe and substituted most of the fat with applesauce. The fat I use is a mixture of melted butter and polyunsaturated oil and sometimes olive oil to limit the amount of saturated fat.

    Very good and nutritous

I substituted whole wheat for all the flour and skipped the splenda and added 1/8 cup molases.

    Tasty treat

JENNIFER DICKINSON from GRAND FORKS, ND

I had many dates that needed to be used up and searched for a recipe. This one fit the bill. I was happy with the way they turned out, even though I used regular sugar instead of Spenda.
