A taste of Fall, no matter what the season is. Moist and mildly spicy loaves are easy to transport and a sure hit at any holiday get-together. Add a teaspoon of vanilla for an extra richness.

    Cathy Snyder from Sarasota, FL

This made a nice loaf. My family loved it, and I will make 2 next time! I didn't have pumpkin pie spice, and used 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp allspice, & 1 tsp nutmeg in it's place. Next time I will omit the allspice - I think it made it a little too spicey for my taste, but no one else seemed to notice.

The recipe instructions were very easy to follow. The loaf turned out very well. I made two loaves and on the second I put the nuts in the mix instead of on top. It was a different taste from the first. I really enjoyed making them and my family and I enjoyed eating them.

This pumpkin bread is simply the best. I have tried all kinds recipes, from quick breads to the fancier stuff and this one is the best by far. If your family likes it with more spices, just go ahead and add some more nutmeg and ground cloves.

It makes a great gift too. Just bake a few loaves and you have some great gifts for friends and family alike. These loaves are also great gifts for new neighbors that move in next door.
