My family, friends, and coworkers love this cookie cake. It is so easy and yummy with icing. I bake mine on a pizza pan!

    Delicious! :)

    Diane Lewis from

I made this recipe using the Nestle Tollhouse cookie recipe instead of the ready-made dough and then topped it with vanilla frosting and polka-dot sprinkles. My friends LOVED it! One piece of advice, though - if you use homemade cookie dough instead, you don't need to put ALL of it on the pizza pan to bake - it will run over the edge... :)

Mine looked better than store bought!

Nicole Phillips Klingelhoefer from Bedford, TX

This recipe was perfect for my son's birthday celebration at preschool, and was better than cupcakes! It came out smaller than the size of a pie plate, but after decorating it with white icing and chocolate frosting, anyone would have thought I had ordered it from one of the "big cookie" companies. Easy!

Niki edwards from SAINT CLOUD, FL

I had tried this simple desert with no additioinal recipe other than the original. With this recipe however it was perfect. I was unaware you needed to pack the dough or butter the pan; once I did that, what a beautiful pie.

We had my daughters college make up one of these for our daughter during finals. She was so excited to get it. She thought she could handle all of it but finally gave in and bought some milk and shared it with her room mates.. Some folks say there is nothing more tempting then a Chocolate Chip Cookie and a glass of milk. My Grandfather use to say that ought to bring a smile to anyones face.

    I love cookie cake

    Jennifer Mae from

I wanted to make a cookie cake for my son's first birthday without having to pay so much money for one at the mall so I tried this recipe. It was good but it was hard to get the middle of it fully cooked without burning the edges so it's better to let it thaw a few minutes before baking.

I love making "one big cookie" just for decorative purposes- show off my creative side. Normally do this for holidays or special occasions. This works well for those who like cookies and not cake. So, I use sugar cookie more, but I've done this with chocolate chip cookies as well. I have fun with it!

My daughters friends at her stay over made 2 of these Big Cookies and did they have fun. Than they decorated them with all kinds of stuff they found around the kitchen. Some of the ideas was really cute and gave me a few ideas for later on when I bake cookies. Kids can teach you things once in a while if you just watch and listen.

    Skillet cookie

    DIANA HASLER from PEKIN, IL

Our family loves the skillet cookies that we get at restaurants so I use this to create our own at home. I either bake the cookie (store bought Nestle dough or homemade tollhouse cookie recipe)in a pizza pan or an oven compatible skillet and we cut it up immediately so it is still gooey and add ice cream & hot fudge sauce. Much cheaper than the $7 or more at the restaurants and a quick & yummy dessert for any occasion.

Big Cookies a hit at party

I made big cookies in pizza pans to go along with the theme of my daughter's pizza party. It was a fun alternative to the traditional birthday cake and so easy! I even spread icing over a big sugar cookie and cut circles out of red fruit rollups to decorate the cookie to look like a pepperoni pizza. She couldn't wait to show it off to her friends. Yummy!
