Here’s an easy and delicious way to make pumpkin butter. Make ahead and keep in the refrigerator to serve on freshly baked biscuits or muffins.


  • 1 can (30 oz.) LIBBY'S® Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix

EMPTY pie mix into medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring frequently, for 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Store in airtight container(s) in refrigerator for up to 2 months. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

SERVE with buttermilk biscuits, breads, corn muffins, gingersnap cookies or hot cereal.

NOTE: For a great gift idea, after adding pumpkin butter to jar, seal with lid and decorate with fabric and ribbon.

So Easy!!

I wanted a simple gift idea to give out to various people of our community (ie-teachers, pastors, managers)--and this worked perfectly! Putting it in a decorative jar did the trick--everyone thought it was homemade!

not what i was expecting

i made this for my family to put on bread thinking it would be amazing. it tasted like i was spreading pumpkin pie on bread. it was time consuming and it wasn't anything special.
