Original NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spread into prepared pan.
BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

I grew up eating these and they remind me of times when life was simple and family was together
I frosted with whipped icing to make them a bit more grown up.
This was wonderful, easy, and my kids loved them. I was just trying to do something different and this pan cookie was the best. YUM!
Birthday Cookie Cake
My wife made this for my birthday in a 12-inch round pan. After it cooled, she decorated it with frosting and when she presented it to me, I was just thrilled. We froze half (after it was cut into pieces). It is great to take a couple of the pieces out of the freezer each day; they do not take long to thaw!
Chocolate Chip Walnut Bars
These cookies are delicious. I dress them up a bit during the holiday season. Prepare and bake following instructions using walnuts as the nit of choice. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Cut into bar. Melt 1 1/2 cups Nestles Toll House semi sweet chips. Place one teaspoon of melted chocolate in the middle of the cooled cookie. Top with a walnut piece.
