Ovaltine Brownies

These were really good. I took them to a picnic and got a lot of compliments! I don't know if they were the best brownies I've ever made, but it saved me a trip to the store for cocoa powder. Mine came out a bit mushy with a flaky top with more of a fudgy taste. Pretty good!

moist and chewy

Very good, chewy brownies. Not 5 stars because, while the chocolate chips on top melt and remain soft for a few hours (at least) by the next day, it's just a hard chocolate coating. Next time I'll melt them with some milk and make a ganache topping.

This recipe is so easy to make that my daughter, who is mentally challenged, could make it on her own. The brownies were delicious, awesome and just plain yummy. Everyone loved them.
