Great for peanut butter lovers

 Star(s)

Dawn Panagiotou from DALE CITY, VA

My husband loves peanut butter and chocolate mixed together, so these were perfect for him. He likes the bars better then the cookies. I on the other hand am not a peanut butter and chocolate fan, but I thought these were delicious and easy to make.

    AWESOME!!!

M DANIELS from West Bloomfield, MI

I've had these bars since I was a child! No joke! An added bonus would be to take the remaining 1/4C of morsels & sprinkle them on top of the pan after baking; let the morsels soften 5 minutes. Then grab a spatula to spread over the bars, then top with crushed salted peanuts! YUMMM!!!

    AWESOME TASTE!

    Bernard Roberts from MILTON, FL

A big WOW! This recipe was so simple and quick. I use the regular chocolate chips instead and the taste still turned out awesome. I brought the whole batch to work, and boy they did not last for long. A couple people came back for seconds, only to find out that they were all gone. The very next day one of the guys asked me when I was going to bring in some more, because he loved these bars and wanted the recipe to give to his wife. Now I will have to make these at least once a week, and the next time I will not bring in the whole batch, but to save some for myself for later to eat. This will go on my favorite list for sure. ALL I CANT SAY IS, DELICIOUS!!!!!!

I modified the recipe and left out half of the chocolate chips. When the brownies were done baking, I took them out and placed the remaining chips on top. Let them warm up for a few minutes, and then spread over entire top. This makes a nice chocolate topping for the brownies.
