As one of the few people who do not like chocolate chip/ chunk cookies these are great! This recipe has become a family favorite. I find them a little on the dry side but no one seems to mind that at all.

    Disappointing

    Nancy Brisebois-Good from rockville, MD

I was so disappointed in this recipe because it received a majority of great reviews and when I tasted it I totally agreed with the minority of the reviews saying that these cookies have a cake like texture and barely tasted like peanut butter. My husband said that they tasted good but he couldn’t taste the peanut butter in it and I totally agreed with him. They tasted good not great just like good chocolate-chips cookies. I won’t make this recipe again and I will continue to look for a great peanut butter cookie recipe…This was certainly not it.

I just finished making these cookies and my husband has eaten 4 already. I did not have chocolate chuunks, so I used 3/4 cups peanut butter chips and 3/4 cups m & m's along with chopped peanuts. It worked out fine. Every cookie has bits of goodness in every bite.

I made these last week for my nephew's 13th birthday (he doesnt care for cake, but loves peanutbutter cookies). These cookies are unbelievably delicious! I like to make these for my husband to satisfy his peanut butter cookie cravings. I've made these for friends as well, and am always asked to make them again! I do put my dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or so before baking - I do that with all my cookie dough -they seem to turn out better that way. Oh yes, I also added 2 3/4 cup more flour to the recipe - otherwise, I changed nothing. Give the recipe a try, you won't regret it!

    WOW!!!

    Catherine from Pensacola

These cookies were great! The dough was just as tasty as the cookies. I did a little altering, I added some oatmeal, add a little more brown sugar, not so much regular sugar, mixed chocolate chunks and regular morsels. They came out extremely good and they satisfed my craving for both peanut butter and chocolate!!

    Classic Good

    beth Ruyle from Phoenix, AZ

I made these for my husband who loves peanut butter. I used creamy instead of chunky peanut butter and didn't add the nuts. I also tried Crisco sticks instead of butter. They came out so light and tasty! I haven't used chunks much in the past but using them for these cookies was a welcome change from the morsels. I think I'll put these in my regular cookie rotation.

I made these cookies for my Bunco club and they were the hit of the party. I had to print out the recipe for everyone there. They were tender yet crunchy thanks to the peanuts. Hard to stop eating

    megan ksionda from Tucson, AZ

I made the dough last night and cooked them this mouring. I've been craving peanut butter. I really like this recipe, my only problem was that I didn't have enough chocolate, so I just put one chocolate piece on the top of each cookie. They would have been much better with more chocolate. They're good when the chocolates melted and you spread it on top.

  • Star(s)

I made these without the chopped peanuts and they were every bit as good. The chunk chocolate gave them some real character and we thoroughly enjoyed them. This recipe is a keeper!

    Just Like Peanut Butter Cups!

Lisa Roberts from Bel Air, MD

For those who love peanut butter cups, these cookies are the best. The peanuts give them more texture, but they're just as wonderful for those who prefer creamy peanut butter and no nuts! Chocolate chunks helps the chocolate flavor not get lost in the peanut butter flavor.

    Tasty

    Gail Partin from Bristol, VA

These have a really good taste. They are quite crumbly, but not so bad that you can't enjoy them. The texture may have been effected by my substituting though. I used a whole cup of crunchy p-nut butter instead of a 1/2 cup p-nut butter & 1/2 cup of chopped p-nuts. I also just used the regular semi-sweet chocolate chips, not the chunks. Hint: Be sure to allow the cookies to cool a little before removing from the pan. If you don't, they will fall apart. Overall, there are very good cookies. I will make them again.
