    Really Like These Bars

Elaine Nalipinski from LAKE ELMO, MN

These bars sounded so good, just had to try. They turned out to be very easy to make & just as delicious. I doubled the recipe & just put in a cake pan & let set to harden. So glad I did double the recipe as we really like them. Our kids are now all moved out, so we trade goodies with the folks across the street. They too really liked these bars. Thanks much for the great recipes.

Way too sweet, even for me. But I made them a second time using semi-sweet morsels with the butterscotch and they were great. Corn flakes with banana slices make these extra special.

I had only one cup of butterscotch morsels so I also used 2/3 C chocolate chips. I didn't have flake cereal so I used rice cereal. I love chocolate more than butterscotch so I thought the two flavors mixed were very good. The cereal pieces were big so I would make smaller drops next time (or use flakes!) but all in all, this recipe was easy to put together and easy to manipulate to fit what is in your pantry :)

    butterscotch overpowers

    Karen Burgess from MCKINLEYVILLE, CA

I like sweets with lots of flavor, but this one tasted to me like it needed more peanut butter in it. I am just not sure it would set up with more. I added the raisins, but wouldn't next time. They add a greater sweetness to something I felt was already too sweet.
