peanutty chocolate truffles
Yummy, the best
I have tried this recipe twice now and every time it is so delicious. I can't believe ho much like peanut butter cups they taste like. Kudos to the recipe maker!!!
I made these for a family party once and everyone LOVED them. They wiped them out in about .01 seconds! I was amazed! They were so good too.
I gave these out in Christmas baskets.... all were returned, asking for a refill. (My husband demanded a basket of his own after being my taste tester)
that says it all...what could be better!!! Super easy and perfect for a gift anytime!!!!!!!!!!!
Easy and tasty
These were easy to make and tasted great. I drizzled the tops with a litte milk chocolate and put them in truffle cups and they looked great.
What a hit!
I made these as a gift and my friend loved them. She thought I bought them! They are very good and the mix of chocolate and peanut is great! I will definitely make them again especially for the holidays coming up.
FABULOUSLY EASY AND DELICIOUS
I took these to a meeting once and they were a big hit...everyone wanted the recipe! I had no idea hot cocoa mix was so versatile! I'll be making these for years to come. Thanks!
easy tasty treat
These were so easy and tasted really good. Thanks. My boy scout's new favorite.
this is easy to make & very delicious treat too. everyone in my family love it :)
CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER ARE SO GREAT TOGETHER.THEY ARE SO EASY AND SO GOOD, IT ACTUALLY LOOKES LIKE I WORKED VERY HARD TO MAKE THEM
THEY WERE GREAT
THESE PEANUT TRUFFLES WERE GREAT, I MADE SOME FOR NEW YEARS AND THE KIDS AND ADULTS LOVED THEM
great for grazing
I took these to an office "grazing" party and they were a great hit. I was looking for more of a chocolate flavor but no one else seemed to mind
These are simply wonderful! I skipped the peanuts on the outside and rolled them in powdered sugar and cocoa mix instead. They were well received by everyone! Reminded me of a peanut butter cup... delicious! These would be fantastic dipped in chocolate, but I had to make way too many to take the time to do it. Will defenitely be making these again.
These were the easiest and most fun to make, and the most delightful to eat. I dressed mine up with some chocolate drizzles. They display beautifully and no one will know how effortless they are to make.
These were very easy to make. Dip them in melted chocolate for a great chocolate/peanut butter treat!
Experiment a bit
This was a great base recipe, but the peanuts on the outside were too much. I dipped them (quickly!) in chocolate instead, and they were terrific!
These are wonderful and very easy everybody should try them!!
These are definately worth spoiling your dinner over! They satisfy every craving!
Peanutty Chocolate Truffles
Chocolate & peanut butter, can't go wrong!!! My two favorite ingredients in one recipe! Great, easy to do.
These are superb truffles and easily made. I do not prefer the actual crunch of the peanut thus I coated some in powdered sugar and the rest in a mixture of cocoa powder and nestle quik. When I swirled this truffle recipe with a coinciding chocolate truffle recipe-- everyone agreed they tasted just like reeces cups!
I am a chocoholic. This was great and easy. I am thinking of dipping them in chocolate next time and then putting them in the refrigerator. Maybe using chocolate raspberry hot cocoa mix would be and interesting twist to it as well.
Melt in your mouth good!
TO DIE FOR! Quick, easy & delightful. Highly reccommend. Would be nice as a gift.
These are great!!!
The reason I love these are because they are fast and easy to make, even my kids can make them. They also make a nice gift because the presentation of these truffles are very elegant.
I like the creamy texture of these truffles. I also had to substitute on the chopped peanuts after I ran out. I tried rolling them in unsweetened cocoa which help tone down the sweetness(adults liked) and in the NESTLÉ HOT COCOA MIX which the kids loved.
Melt in your mouth
This truffle is very good. I had never made truffles before now. I plan on doing it again.
The chocolate/peanut butter tastes great, but...
...these truffles are high in salt. The cocktail peanuts that cover the truffle add too much salt. A better idea would be to shell peanuts and crush them on your own, in a plastic sandwich bag with a rolling pin.
