    Yummmmm!

TAMMY BEERS from VIRGINIA BEACH, VA

These are simply wonderful! I skipped the peanuts on the outside and rolled them in powdered sugar and cocoa mix instead. They were well received by everyone! Reminded me of a peanut butter cup... delicious! These would be fantastic dipped in chocolate, but I had to make way too many to take the time to do it. Will defenitely be making these again.

    Experiment a bit

K Kubert from Grosse Pointe Woods, MI

This was a great base recipe, but the peanuts on the outside were too much. I dipped them (quickly!) in chocolate instead, and they were terrific!

    reese's taste-a-likes?

    carli from universal city, TX

These are superb truffles and easily made. I do not prefer the actual crunch of the peanut thus I coated some in powdered sugar and the rest in a mixture of cocoa powder and nestle quik. When I swirled this truffle recipe with a coinciding chocolate truffle recipe-- everyone agreed they tasted just like reeces cups!

    Excellent

    Candice from

I am a chocoholic. This was great and easy. I am thinking of dipping them in chocolate next time and then putting them in the refrigerator. Maybe using chocolate raspberry hot cocoa mix would be and interesting twist to it as well.

    Melt in your mouth good!

    Cindy from Holiday, FL

TO DIE FOR! Quick, easy & delightful. Highly reccommend. Would be nice as a gift.

  • Star(s)

    These are great!!!

    Tammy from new brunswick canada

The reason I love these are because they are fast and easy to make, even my kids can make them. They also make a nice gift because the presentation of these truffles are very elegant.

  • Star(s)

    creamy texture

    Tammy from

I like the creamy texture of these truffles. I also had to substitute on the chopped peanuts after I ran out. I tried rolling them in unsweetened cocoa which help tone down the sweetness(adults liked) and in the NESTLÉ HOT COCOA MIX which the kids loved.

    Melt in your mouth

Karen McGlaughlin from Falls City, OR

This truffle is very good. I had never made truffles before now. I plan on doing it again.

  • Star(s)

The chocolate/peanut butter tastes great, but...

    Anne from

...these truffles are high in salt. The cocktail peanuts that cover the truffle add too much salt. A better idea would be to shell peanuts and crush them on your own, in a plastic sandwich bag with a rolling pin.
