    Small Substitution

    Gerry from Tulsa, OK

Most popular appetizer ever! One or two changes: I eliminate the chopped onions and instead of stuffing mix, I use French's Fried Onions, chopped with toasted pecans for the topping. Makes it totally outstanding. Try it, you'll like it!

    Great Dip

    Barbara DaRe from United States

I've made this dip many time and it's always a hit with everyone wanting the recipe. I find it difficult that anyone would find it bland, but if so, I'd recommend increasing the cayenne. Great Recipe - Great Dip!!

    YUCK!!

    Kelly from Rochester, NY

I followed this recipe to the letter, but I found it boring and bland. I chose it based on the rave reviews, but my experience was that this was lacking in flavor. Not a recipe I'll use again.

    Always a clean plate

    Maureen from Gainesville, FL

I have made this recipe countless times and there are NEVER leftovers. Everyone loves it! If you are making for just a few people and don't need the whole thing, portions of the recipe freeze really well.

    The absolutely best!

    nissarella from

This is the most popular dips I make and people are always asking for the recipe. I've been at parties where other people brought their spinach and/or artichoke dip which they always say is the best. At the end of the party mine is long gone and theirs is still sitting there! I don't make it exactly as it is here, I always double the artichokes and pepper and when I make it for my family I don't use so many pecans. But either way you wont need or want another recipe ever again!

    BEST I'VE EVER HAD!

    T. Metzger from Rowlett, Texas

I made this for a group of about 15 ladies. Everyone was raving about it....some were even just eating it with a spoon. I've passed out this recipe to many of them, and can't wait to have it again myself! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves spinach and artichoke dip.....easy to make! I prepared it early, and kept it in the fridge until it was time to bake. Great great recipe!

    Everyone wanted the recipe.

    T. Fogg from Camas, WA

I've made this several times and have had many people either ask for the recipe or request that I make it at family gatherings. The crust on top is the biggest hit. The only problem I found was trying to find the frozen creamed spinach. I had to ask my local store to carry it for me.

    Best I've ever had, excellent!

    Janice J from Hendersonville, TN.

This is the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. I've made it several times and everybody loves it. A friend of mines child even liked it and asked if I would give his mother the recipe so she could make it. The last time I made it I added a little more cayenne and it was really good that way too. It's a big hit at parties. I'm making it again today for a party. Remember to take some chips or crackers with you.

    Excellent Appetizer

Lori M. from Saint Paul, Minnesota

We LOVED this dish. I made it to go with an assortment of crackers as an appetizer while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone enjoyed it tremendously and I am definately going to make it again. I did add a bit more cyenne pepper as well as eliminate the stuffing and add more pecans before baking. It was a tremendous success and I have been asked to make it again at Christmas.

Kathy Anderson from Fort Worth, Texas

Makes a large amount.. Is delicious with a flavored cracker. Very smooth with the crunch on top. My friends loved it !!! It's also different from the same old dips or spreads. I'd put extra artichokes in it if I make it again.

Wonderful dip ..............I skip the herb stuffing and the pecans.............you just don't need them - or the extra calories! You can't go wrong bringing this dip to a party..........it's always a hit!

    Awesome!

    Emily from Houston, Texas

I made this for my bunko group, and when my husband got home, he was furious that we hadn't saved him more of it. Now, every time I make it, there aren't leftovers, no matter how many people are eating it. However, I only use 1 package of creamed spinach. Two tasted a little spinachy.

I made this for a party for the first time and got rave reviews...many people wanted the recipe so I referred them to meals.com. In fact, it was the only appetizer completely finished. It was SO good that I made it the next day for a Superbowl party. This recipe is also very easy to make.

When I make this appetizer for gatherings with friends and family, they always ask for the recipe. They tell me it is better than Spinach Artichoke Dip they've had in restaurants. And I agree!

    Excellent Recipe!

    Lauren from

I made this recipe as an appetizer for Thanksgiving to replace my usual cold spinach dip. It was an instant hit with my family and friends! To save time, I mixed it up the night before and popped it in the oven the next day for about 30 mins. It also reheats well in the microwave, if you need to warm it.

I made this for an office b-day party, within 10 minutes after the party started, several people said they wanted the recipe! It is very easy to make, I added a tad more pecans and stuffing though, and served it with blue corn tortilla chips, it was a hit!

    Great fast dip!

    Heidi from NJ

I thought the dip was a great for parties. It was easy to make. It can be made before hand and frozen if you are in a hurry the day of a party. It is even good a little bit cold. I added a little bit for pepper than the recipe said and also added yellow and red peppers to give it more color. All in all it is a great dip !!

    Boy Was This Good

    Kristin from Minnesota

This is something you gotta try. I made it last night and I wasn't sure it would taste good because of the mayo, but it needs more pecans. Taste sooo good it was like I had orderd it from a restaurant. It's already gone. :)

My teenagers devour this, even make it for their friends. Best with blue corn chips. I've given this recipe to over a dozen fans, who beg for it. It's not the usual spinach and artichoke dip. I have used non- fat and lowfat cream cheese, but my favorite is Neufchatel. also always use lowfat mayo, and fresh Mozzarella. The dip is great and I get calcium into our diet. with a fruit salad and French baguette instead of chips, This has been a light meal many times.

This is really good ... not too cheesy as others have been, plus it was easy to make! Great crowd pleaser and even good the next day when reheated.

    Absolutely, Wonderfully, Marvelous!

    Dee from Pembroke Pines, Florida

The first time I made this dip, I intended to have it for friends for a pre-Christmas gathering. When I took it out of the oven, my intentions were to simply taste-test it before my guests arrived. I must say that after "taste-testing" the dip, while using a bowl full of tortilla chips, I found that I had to make another dish of this dip (and put my unused portion in the fridge for me to enjoy later). This is an unusually delicious dip! I've since made it almost 5 times! It's now my "company's coming" appetizer dip!

  • Star(s)

    OUTSTANDING!

    Cheryl Dunn from Sunbury, OH

This is absolutely the best artichoke dip I have ever had. I made it for a get-together with friends and 16 people went through a double batch! It was incredibly easy yet tasted like it took hours to make. Everyone raved about it. I highly recommend you try it! It is AWESOME!!

This recipe is the best I've tasted. I prepare it often for social gatherings, everyone always loves it and asks for the recipe. I've found that even those who say they don't like spinach or artichoke, love it once they've tried it.

I've made this dip twice in the past 2 weeks, both for dinner parties. I cannot tell you how many people gushed over it and told me it was the best dip they'd ever tasted! It's so easy, yet it seems as if I slaved over it for hours-- I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
