- 8 oz. NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Baking Bar, broken into small pieces
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, cut into pieces
- 1 cup powdered sugar
MICROWAVE baking bars and cream in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. The bars may retain some of their shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted.
TRANSFER mixture to large mixer bowl; cool to room temperature. Beat in butter until creamy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Makes 3 cups.

I used this frosting on a wedding cake I made. It has a great taste, but is a little too thin for any decorating. I had to add a lot more powdered sugar to get it to decorating consistancy. I would definitely use this recipe again for a plain cake just as a frosting!
