    The Taste of Fall

    Pamela McCandless from Auburn, IN

Wonderful!! Very moist, not crumbly or cake like at all. The perfect balance of spices come together to make the taste of fall. I added candied walnuts to the top before baking making it even more wonderful. Pure pleasure to enjoy.

It was a chilly, rainy day yesterday and I decided to make this bread to warm the house and us. Absolutely delicious!! It was easy to prepare, healthier than most breads and I added some raisins and chopped walnuts for more texture. The next time I'll double the recipe and freeze one bread.

I made this bread for my family and they loved it right out of the oven. They do put a little butter right on a warm piece. I didn't tell them what I put in it. This is a very vegetarian recipe that I am looking for. Thank you for the recipe!

    not the best

Eleanor Jernigan from EL PASO, TX

I tried this bread for my diabetic friends. After making the mistake of not trying a new recipe before giving it out--I now try all new recipes. The flavor of pumpkin wasn't there and the texture was off. Can the regular pumpkin bread be made with fake sugar and turn out well? Because everyone loves that bread.

    SEASONAL DELIGHT!

IRENE HANSON from DES PLAINES, IL

This Pumpkin Apple Bread is such a delight to bring into the early Fall or Thanksgiving season. That apple taste is great and goes hand-in-hand for that early or mid Fall apple growing season. The pumpkin flavor can then provide an early start or great finish for that Fall or Thanksgiving season. What a seasonal flavor to enjoy throughtout the whole Fall season!
