Terrific Treat!

We made this for "Grandpa's" birthday because he's such an apple pie guy. I changed the recipe slightly cause Pop's doesn't care too much for the pumpkin flavor. Tried using peanut butter and adding the apples on top to it. It was great! Thanks

This was excellent! The family loved it. The kids wanted to try something else with it so we used the Chocolate Chip cookie dough and baked it. In with the 1(8oz.)pkg. cream cheese we used 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 1 (8oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed instead of the pumpkin. We used 2 med. bananas instead of apples and drizzle the hot carmel ice cream topping on top of that and then drizzled 1/4 c. melted Nestles chocolate chips. They love this one also.

I made three of these at one time and shared with family and friends. It was a great hit! My boyfriend, who is a longhaul trucker, took them to a major apple production plant and shared them. One of the big boss's wife's loved it and wanted the recipe, even some of the male workers did too! It is so simple to make. It is something that takes hardly any time to make and you can share it at a holiday party or anytime.

    Excellent Dessert

Kelly Hart from WILLOW STREET, PA

This was an excellent dessert for a group of people. Everyone enjoyed the flavor. It is also nice on a cool night because it is warm. I made the cookie ahead of time and mixed and chopped up the ingredients. Just before the guest arrived I spread the ingredients on and added toppings and put in the oven. Then turned the oven on for 10 minutes. I had a no mess dessert on my stone that stayed warm.

    Yumm!

    Carly Brooks from Staunton, VA

This was really easy to make and absolutely delicious! One word of advice, don't get a roll of cookie dough that gives you "extra"...it will puff out over the edges and fall out in your oven! Also, don't bring it to someone's house right after you put on the melty caramel....it may roll off onto your car seat like it did mine! However, it was definitely a big hit!

    Pumpkin Dessert Pizza

When I bake bread, I usually make cinnamon rolls or apple sauce pizza for dessert or breakfast. Now, with your idea, we tried substituting Pumpkin Butter (the 20 minute cooking kind) that we found a recipe for at this site. So, we took a bread dough crust, already baked but still warm, topped it generously with pumpkin butter, then sprinkled with oatmeal and raisins. Bake until the pumpkin butter seems set and the oatmeal and raisins are a little brown, but not burnt. You could probably use store bought pizza crusts or tortillas too. Yum! Thanks for getting our minds churning. It's always great to find new ways to use pumpkin!

    Jenny Nickerson from CLARKSVILLE, TN

This dessert pizza was very yummy. I made it tonight for my family because I had them over for dinner. I thought it would be a nice finish for our fall meal. It was easy to make and the final result was a hit. I do not like walnuts, so I used pecans for the topping, and before putting them on the pizza I toasted them in a pan in a little butter, cinnamon, and sugar. My family said it was delicious. I will make it again soon.

i really liked this because its easy enough for the kids to make it with their friends and healthy enough that if they make pigs of themselves on it they can skip the rest of the meal and still get daily servings of fodds they are supposed to have.it tastes good enough that you have to figure they may gorge, at least the first time they try it.
