They're delicious. They taste like autumn. We'll definately make them again. There's nothing like homemade goodness straight from your own kitchen and you know exactly what went into them. The recipe is in my card file.

These pancakes were very tasty. We had them christmas morning, a very happy crowd. This recipe was easily adaptable to accomodate dairy allergy, I used soya milk in one batch for my son, my husband had both and couldn't tell the difference. My family has asked me to make these pancakes 5 times since christmas. I make the batter the night before so that I can serve them up on weekday mornings, sure beats frozen waffles!

    Husband loves pumpkin & pancakes

    Colleen Miles from VINTON, VA

My husband followed the recipe and made his own pumpkin pancakes. He loved the flavor, but felt the batter was a bit thick. The next time he makes a batch, he's planning to make a thinner batter. As for the pumpkin maple sauce, that didn't go over as well. He thought there was something missing in terms of flavor notes -- sweetness level was ok, but the whole flavor wasn't blossoming right. In general, good pancakes, not so good sauce. However, my husband mixed peanut butter with maple syrup and put that on his pumpkin pancakes --- to him, that was a home run.

I had some wonderful pumpkin pancakes at a neighborhood restaurant while I was visiting my daughter in Florida. I knew the best place to search for a recipe would be VeryBestBaking.com. These pancakes are simply wonderful. I'm a newlywed (2nd time around) and my husband and I loved these pancakes. I have forwarded the recipe to my daughter, who is a terrific cook!

    deena satterfield from deeland, FL

I made these for the first time and was so impressed that I made an additional batch that same day. The pumpkin pancakes are very moist so they freeze wonderfully and are as fresh tasting and moist out of the freezer as they were the same day I originally made them. wonderful with maple syrup as well.

    delicious pumpkin pancakes

Nicole Portell from SAINT CHARLES, MO

I made these for the first time today, using my new griddle. They were great! They're heavier than your average pancake, but they have a wonderful texture. I suggest using just plain maple syrup instead of the pumpkin maple syrup. Delish!

    Nice change

    Stephanie from Nebraska

This is good for getting away from standard pancakes. I also tried the pumpkin syrup. My husband and son liked the pancakes, but didn't care much for the syrup. I enjoyed both, but think the syrup would go better on regular pancakes or waffles.
