This Pumpkin Smoothie has tangy orange juice, sweet banana and brown sugar combined with pumpkin and creamy evaporated milk to mix up a pourable treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin, chilled
  • 1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Lowfat 2% Milk, chilled
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 small sliced banana
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 dozen ice cubes (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (optional)
Store Locator »
PLACE pumpkin, evaporated milk, orange juice, banana and sugar in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Pour over ice. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.

pumkin smoothie

thought it wasn't too bad, my family thought it tasted like pumkin pie but not cooked. They love the pie, but not this. Even tried it with ice cream instead of all ice. Didn't work either. not for us, but it did smell good.

Pumpkin Smoothie

For those allergic to cow's milk, I also like to use almond milk. Pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon gives the smoothie the flavor of pumpkin pie. Try it!

Natural Honey, chilled pure pumpkin from can, chilled Soy milk, blended together makes a wonderful smoothie with the added benefits of the antioxidants from honey and high fiber from pumpkin.

Add A Scoop of Ice Cream Per Serving

I used half a can of evaporated milk mixed with 1/2 cup skim milk, frozen until hard in an ice cube tray, and blended the smoothie as directed, eliminating the ice cubes. After pouring into tall glasses, I carefully added a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, and topped that off with a drizzle of caramel ice cream topping, and a grating of fresh nutmeg. Not as easy to prepare, but now it's the "cat's meow!"

Flavor just alright. Had to add some spices to give it some zip. Will play around with the ingredients the next time to jazz it up a little more.
