I love this recipe--but have modified it a little to make it a little thicker and creamier. I just add 1 cup of sugar to the chocolate chips and evaporated milk, and a tablespoon of (real) butter when I stir in the vanilla. Too good to be true!

    Quick Chocolate Fudge Sauce

    Jeannette Reeser from SUMMERTON, SC

Recently we visited Penn. where I ate chocolate Fudge Sauce with peanut butter in it. We were at an Ice Cream place where they would not share the recipe. Chocolate is a favorite of mine,no matter what it's in, so I decided to add peanut butter to this sauce. Which was by the way wonderful already, but I wanted to see if I could get the same taste as the ice cream shop. Add 1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter to the sauce and you have something wonderful. Anything that the two flavors blend with adds more flavor then you would believe. What it does with different flavors of ice creams as well as vanilla.

This has been a favotite of ours for a long time - we use it for dipping, over ice cream and even over a warmed cake (unfrosted). The kids dip all sorts of things in CHOCOLATE... (who wouldn't) It can be made in a flash with only 3 ingredients that most of us always have on hand.

This fudge sauce is wonderful. I used the sauce to top a special desert creation for my family. I sliced bananas and surrounding 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Topped with the fudge sauce and some crushed walnuts. It was a great hit! Thanks so much for sharing, this recipe has many possibilities.

This is a real winner, when it come's to kid's. I let mine dip, all of their favorite things in the sauce. Granola Bar's, Banana's, Apple's, Orange's, and whatever you may think that they would like to dip, turn them loose. It is a real crowd pleaser, when it come's to a rainy day. It saved my day!!! GREAT!!!
