Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1 package chocolate frosting
  • NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Jingles
  • NESTLÉ CRUNCH Jingles
  • WONKA® GOBSTOPPER® Snowballs (2 for each cupcake)
  • WONKA® Frosty NERDS® (one red one for each cupcake)
  • Pretzels
  • Zip-close plastic baggie for piping frosting

Directions:

To keep things really simple, bake chocolate cupcakes straight from a cake mix and use store-bought chocolate frosting. While your cupcakes are baking, you can gather the rest of your toppings. You'll need 1 container chocolate frosting, Nestlé® Butterfinger® Jingles or Nestlé® Crunch® Jingles, white Wonka® Gobstopper® Snowballs, red Wonka® Frosty Nerds® (one for each cupcake), pretzels, and a small zip-close plastic bag and scissors. Your kids will help you eat the unused colors of Gobstoppers and Nerds.

You'll also want to get your pretzels ready while your cupcakes are baking and cooling. The trickiest part of the whole thing is getting the pretzels to break the right way. Using a serrated knife and gently sawing the prezel back and forth is the most effective way to break it, without the whole thing shattering.

You can also get your frosting ready. Most of the frosting will be spread with a knife straight out of the can. However, you'll want to put a couple of tablespoons of frosting into a small zip-close bag and snip a small piece off the corner. Use this to pipe frosting out for the details instead of using a fancy piping bag.

Once the cupcakes have cooled, spread chocolate frosting evenly across the cupcake top.

Add a Butterfinger® or Crunch® Jingle on the lower half of the cupcake. The added height these give to the cupcakes really help the reindeer come alive.

Put 2 white Gobstopper® Snowballs on just above the Jingle. The Gobstopper® Snowballs are perfect as eyes because they're perfectly round and give the eyes some added pop.

Now with zip-close bag of frosting, squeeze just a little frosting onto the end of the Jingle as well as a dot of frosting on each eye for the pupil.

Put a red Nerd® in the frosting at the tip of the Jingle. Pick out the larger Nerds® from the mix as they are the perfect size.

Now for the final step, add two pretzel pieces for the antlers.

So easy that within minutes you'll have a whole herd of reindeer ready to pull Santa's sleigh.
